We’ve been busy in Zionsville lately—just wrapped up two separate 80 kW generator installs, and both are some of the largest residential gensets we’ve done.

One project involved a lot of complexity: an existing 800 amp service that needed repairs, a steep hillside location, a large stabilized generator pad, and a tough directional bore, plus gas connections to a buried propane tank and a big equipment package with dual 400 amp automatic transfer switches.

The second project backed up 3 homes, 2 barns, and a large in-ground spa, and the generator was set 260’ away from the H-frame, which added a ton of planning. We coordinated an underground 1,500 gallon LP tank, an 8” stabilized slab, and a two-stage directional bore with parallel 3” conduits to make it all happen.

Big systems, big logistics—great results for both clients.
